With the drum music we learn driven by your personal taste, whether that is Travis Barker's (Blink 182) drum fills, Lars Ulrich heavy drum beats in Metallica or Buddy Rich's insane jazz drum solos, we have it covered.
Whatever your style our lessons will be exciting, coving everything you need to learn to help you progress to the next level. I teach all levels, from beginners right on to advanced students.

Lessons are pay-as-you-go, weekly, fortnightly or as suits you.

The majority of my drum students have an hour's lesson once a fortnight, with several taking their lesson once a week. It is completely up to you how often you would like to arrange our drum lessons.

I have built up vast resources over my many years of playing and teaching. I like to help drummers/percussionist to develop their chosen style of music and enable them to experience other styles of playing if they are interested as I believe versatility is important for any style of player.

My lessons are currently charged at £35 per hour for my private drum lessons in Exeter.
I teach all my drum lessons at my purpose built drum studio based down at Unit 2, 6 Marsh Green Road North, Marsh Barton Industrial Estate, Exeter, EX2 8NY, on the Marsh Barton estate. The studio is the perfect place to learn - it is a warm relaxing environment packed with a huge array of percussion and drum equipment.
I teach students of all ages, with specially tailored drum lessons for younger students packed full of fun activities. Parents are more than welcome to sit in during our lessons and get involved if they wish.
I certainly do, they are perfect for birthdays, Christmas presents and other celebrations. Get in touch for more info.
